About the NewKicadProject PCB
NewKicadProject is an open source PCB design by henkjannl, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 46.5 × 18.5 mm, with 17 components from 12 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the C29981. By type, the board carries 7 diodes, 5 resistors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors and 1 transistor.
From the project
Opentherm room thermostat that can be controlled through Telegram, but also locally
I wanted to create a room thermostat that can be controlled remotely ('honey, did you remember to switch off the heating?') but which also remains fully operational if internet connectivity is lost. Therefore it can be controlled through Telegram, but also via the hardware unit if WiFi is down. This is also useful since visitors may not want to use Telegram.
