About the Cpu8085 PCB

Cpu8085 is an open source PCB design by hotkeysoft, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 30 components from 22 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the GLUE_LOGIC, 27C256, IS61C256AH, 8250 and FTDI-USB. By type, the board carries 10 capacitors, 8 ICs, 6 resistors, 2 connectors, 1 transistor and 1 crystal.

From the project

Simple 8085 computer with serial IO

Features ============ - 32KB ROM - Address [0x0000-7FFF] - 32KB RAM - Address [0x8000-FFFF] - 82C54 PIT (Programmable Interval Timer) - Port [0x40-0x43] - UART 8250 or 16550 - Port [0x60-0x67] - Connected to FTDI SerialUSB Adapter

Notes ============ - No voltage regulation on board, no protection of any kind - I made a somewhat working BASIC interpreter from scratch that runs on this hardware: pfe_8085basic
