About the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware PCB

STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware is an open source STM32 PCB design by igokraj, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 80 mm, with 60 components from 26 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the C69336, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the C6186. By type, the board carries 18 resistors, 16 capacitors, 9 diodes, 3 connectors, 3 switches and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the displays & leds and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Complete firmware and hardware solution for a self-watering pot, written in C++

STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware: common questions

What microcontroller does the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware use?

The STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware is built around the C69336, from the STM32 family.

How big is the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware PCB?

The STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware measures 50 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware?

60 components, from 26 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware design files?

From the igokraj/STM32_Cpp_Self_Watering_Pot_Firmware-Hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which igokraj chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the STM32 Cpp Self Watering Pot Firmware-Hardware without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
