Repositorio para el proyecto de electromiografo

This device developed is an acquisition board for reading biometric signals from the human body, such as an EEG or EMG.

The board is based on the ADS1299, a 24-bit low-noise analog-to-digital converter developed for applications working with biopotential signals. The board uses a Teensy 4.1 as a DSP microcontroller to perform the tasks of synchronization, parameter configuration, ADC reading, and communication with the host.

TDAB: common questions

What microcontroller does the TDAB use?

The TDAB is built around the Teensy4.1, from the NXP family.

How big is the TDAB PCB?

The TDAB measures 120 × 120 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the TDAB?

587 components, from 56 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the TDAB design files?

From the iowlabs/TDAB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the TDAB design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which iowlabs chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the TDAB without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
