About the Conveyor project PCB

Conveyor project is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by jackstevens44, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 63 × 54.5 mm, with 9 components from 7 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the L293D. By type, the board carries 6 connectors, 1 IC and 1 module.

From the project

All-In-One DIY Conveyor Belt Project

This project is a compact conveyor system featuring a custom-designed controller PCB and 3D-printable mechanical components. I created it to gain hands-on experience with PCB design, electronics integration, mechanical design, rapid prototyping, and design-for-manufacturing.

Conveyor project: common questions

What microcontroller does the Conveyor project use?

The Conveyor project is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Conveyor project PCB?

The Conveyor project measures 63 × 54.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.600198 mm thick.

How many components are on the Conveyor project?

9 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Conveyor project design files?

From the jackstevens44/conveyor-project repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Conveyor project design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with jackstevens44. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Conveyor project without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
