About the PPURS-projekt PCB

PPURS-projekt is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by jadranm, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 81.5 × 57.3 mm, with 22 components from 15 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATmega16A-P, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the 004-0-0053, LM35-LP and LCD-016N002L. By type, the board carries 6 capacitors, 4 ICs, 3 resistors, 2 connectors, 2 switches and 1 crystal.

From the project

PPURS-projekt: common questions

What microcontroller does the PPURS-projekt use?

The PPURS-projekt is built around the ATmega16A-P, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the PPURS-projekt PCB?

The PPURS-projekt measures 81.5 × 57.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PPURS-projekt?

22 components, from 15 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PPURS-projekt design files?

From the jadranm/PPURS-projekt repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PPURS-projekt design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with jadranm. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the PPURS-projekt without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
