About the DragonPalAD724 PCB
DragonPalAD724 is an open source PCB design by jimbro1000, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 120 × 46.3 mm, with 64 components from 35 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 74LS273, MC6847, MC14053, AD724JR and ATF1504ASL-xAx44. By type, the board carries 25 resistors, 18 capacitors, 6 transistors, 5 ICs, 4 connectors and 2 inductors.
From the project
Translation is performed per channel to calculate the relative R-Y and B-Y values that can be combined with an inverted Y signal to produce RGB. Each output channel can then be fine tuned for strength independently.
Translation is performed per channel to calculate the relative R-Y and B-Y values that can be combined with an inverted Y signal to produce RGB. Each output channel can then be fine tuned for strength independently.
The resulting RGB signals are fed to the AD724 which provides signal modulation and synthesizes the sync signals. The original sync in the source luma signal is ignored.
