About the Veittur p1-ble PCB

Veittur p1-ble is an open source RISC-V PCB design by karlp, published on GitHub under the BSD-2-Clause license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40 × 24 mm, with 30 components from 18 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the CH582F, from the RISC-V family. Other key parts include the XC6219B332MR. By type, the board carries 7 resistors, 6 capacitors, 3 connectors, 3 test points, 2 ICs and 2 transistors.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

euro P1 meter HAN port to BLE...

Nothing fancy, a euro HAN P1 port from an electricity meter to BLE. Includes a ws2812 style LED for local indication, and a header for debug and programming. Nothing else at all really, total BOM is ~$2. You'll need to add your own RJ12/6P6C cable, and have BLE range.

intention is to re-use something that already exists in homeassistant protocol wise...

Veittur p1-ble: common questions

What microcontroller does the Veittur p1-ble use?

The Veittur p1-ble is built around the CH582F, from the RISC-V family.

How big is the Veittur p1-ble PCB?

The Veittur p1-ble measures 40 × 24 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Veittur p1-ble?

30 components, from 18 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Veittur p1-ble design files?

From the karlp/veittur-p1-ble repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Veittur p1-ble design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its BSD-2-Clause license, which karlp chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Veittur p1-ble without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
