Knox-Key is an open source STM32 PCB design by Kingdragoncat: a 2-layer, 31.2 × 17.1 mm board with 29 components (17 distinct parts). It is built around the ATECC608B-MAHDA-S, MCP1700T-3302E/TT, USBLC6-2SC6, STM32L433CBTX.

Knox Key is a high-performance, open-source hardware authenticator designed for secure digital identity and cryptographic operations. Built with a focus on a "zero-trust" hardware architecture, it combines low-power processing with a dedicated secure element in a slim, USB-C form factor.

This is a custom USB-C FIDO2 security key. The repository contains the KiCad 9 hardware files (schematics, PCB layout, fab outputs) and the authenticator firmware.

The hardware pairs an STM32L433 microcontroller with an ATECC608B secure element. The project started out as an STM32F072 design (originally named "kryptonite") but was later reworked to use the L433.
