About the PCB Christmas Tree
PCB Christmas Tree is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by KNEAGHUST, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 98.6 mm, with 41 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATtiny402-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 17 resistors, 13 diodes, 5 transistors, 4 connectors, 1 IC and 1 switch.

So... it's a christmas tree... just made from a PCB!
It is green, has stars on it and... it blinks!
The schematics and PCB were designed using KiCAD 7. All the files are available in this repository.
The christmass tree is actually made up of two PCB, that slide into each other and you can solder them toghether.

PCB Christmas Tree: common questions
What microcontroller does the PCB Christmas Tree use?
The PCB Christmas Tree is built around the ATtiny402-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the PCB Christmas Tree?
The PCB Christmas Tree measures 100 × 98.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the PCB Christmas Tree?
41 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the PCB Christmas Tree design files?
From the KNEAGHUST/PCB_Christmas_Tree_AGH repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the PCB Christmas Tree design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which KNEAGHUST chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the PCB Christmas Tree without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
