This KiCad board is a mechanical placement study, not a fabrication release.

- Board maximum: 118 x 86 x 1.6 mm, R5 corners. - Thirteen physical MX switch centres use the layout from Documents/CADPCBDimensionalPlan.md. - The 2U Push-to-Talk control is SW11 + SW12 at a 19.05 mm pitch; firmware combines them as one logical action. - Four M2.5 support holes have a preliminary 2.8 mm` clearance. - The board reserves the selected families: MX switch, reverse-mount RGB, EC11 encoder, ALPS RKJXV joystick, and a 34 x 18 mm RP2040 Pro Micro-style USB-C module. The RP2040 envelope has 1.5 mm of…

Open agent micropad rev a: common questions

What microcontroller does the Open agent micropad rev a use?

The Open agent micropad rev a is built around the RP2040 USB-C PRO MICRO MODULE - SELECT MPN, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Open agent micropad rev a PCB?

The Open agent micropad rev a measures 118 × 86 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Open agent micropad rev a?

29 components, from 18 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Open agent micropad rev a design files?

From the Lamdevelopper/my_codex_micropad repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Open agent micropad rev a design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Lamdevelopper. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Open agent micropad rev a without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
