From the project
Expander board for driving valve motors, relays and measuring tempature
This project is an expander board designed to provide control for valve motors, eight relays, and the ability to measure multiple temperature sensors using the one-wire protocol. The board is implemented using KiCad PCB design software and the PCB files can be found in the pcb folder. The firmware for the board is developed using PlatformIO and can be found in the pio-eub-firmware folder. Additionally, a Python library for interfacing with the expander board is available in the pyetera-uart-bridge folder.

Etera uart bridge: common questions
What microcontroller does the Etera uart bridge use?
The Etera uart bridge is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Etera uart bridge PCB?
The Etera uart bridge measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Etera uart bridge?
63 components, from 15 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Etera uart bridge design files?
From the Lenart12/etera-uart-bridge repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Etera uart bridge design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Lenart12. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Etera uart bridge without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
