This repo is an attempt at building a Pico based alarm clock. It was created for my kids and features:

- date/time (obviously) - alarm (plays wav file on sdcard) - weather (current and forecast) - epaper screen - 3d printable case

The configuration is done remotely, and the clock synchronize from time to time (it can be forced too). The time is also fetched from a remote server.

Epaper driver: common questions

How big is the Epaper driver PCB?

The Epaper driver measures 31.7 × 29.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Epaper driver?

31 components, from 20 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Epaper driver design files?

From the locked/picoclock repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Epaper driver design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with locked. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
