About the ESP32-LED-driver hardware PCB

ESP32-LED-driver hardware is an open source PCB design by m-c-tech, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 50 mm, with 25 components from 10 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the NodeMCU-32S and NCP1117-3.3_SOT223. By type, the board carries 9 connectors, 8 resistors, 4 transistors, 2 ICs and 2 capacitors.

It belongs with the iot & wireless and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A board to drive RGBW and addressable LEDs using an ESP32 WiFi microcontroller.

Hardware changes for driving addressable LEDs: Remove 0R resistors from R1-R4. Place 0R resistors on R5-R7.

Pinout for up to 4 strings of one wire addressable LEDs: VDD - Power +ve (ensure your power supply is correct for your LED voltage) IO19 - LED data 1 IO18 - LED data 2 IO17 - LED data 3 IO16 - LED data 4 GND - GND

Pinout used for 2 strings of SPI addressable LEDs: VDD - Power +ve (ensure your power supply is correct for your LED voltage) IO19 - LED data 0 IO18 - LED clock 0 IO17 - LED data 1 IO16 - LED clock 1 GND - GND
