About the Pad.IX PCB

Pad.IX is an open source PCB design by MasonSmithTech, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 71.4 × 81 mm, with 21 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MOUDLE-SEEEDUINO-XIAO. By type, the board carries 10 switches, 9 diodes, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the keyboards and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

Pad.IX is a macropad project for the Hack Club Stardance Challange.

this project is a spot where the code, schematics, 3d models, and other files related to the Hack Club Stardance "HackPad" project are located, with my iteration named "Pad.IX" since it has nine keys.

The Pad.IX is a nine key macro pad with an encoder and OLED screen, with future hopes of implementing VIA for custom keymapping.

the rotary encoder changes volume. press to mute The 9 keys currently act as ma number pad The OLED is a status display of sorts (mainly says "Pad.IX" tho) Hopefully VIA support will be added once I actually build the thing irl
