About the FSP-Display6S PCB

FSP-Display6S is an open source PCB design by MobiFlight, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 49.8 × 24.3 mm, with 10 components from 10 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MAX7219CNG. By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 jumper, 1 diode and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

A repository with open source panel designs for flight simulation.

There are two types of designs: One-piece and Modular. The former is a complete panel, the latter has a separate driver board that fits any of the different display carrier boards.

(*) The resistor value might have to be adjusted according to the displays used in order to obtain the desired brightness; please refer to the MAX7219 datasheet for further details.
