A self-configuring charging dock that lets an autonomous drone (or ground/legged robot) land anywhere on a pad matrix and get charged correctly, without needing precise mechanical alignment to a fixed contact point.

Base station docking + charging demonstration — the drone lands on the pad array, contacted pads are detected and gated live, and charging begins with no manual alignment.

Lipo Charger: common questions

How big is the Lipo Charger PCB?

The Lipo Charger measures 92.1 × 80.4 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Lipo Charger?

109 components, from 40 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Lipo Charger design files?

From the MohanrajDS/Lipo_Charger_ repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Lipo Charger design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MohanrajDS. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
