About the N1KDO DIsplay Board

N1KDO DIsplay Board is an open source PCB design by n1kdo, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 88 × 32 mm, with 10 components from 7 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 4 switches, 1 IC, 1 connector, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the rf & radio, displays & leds and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

IOT BandSelector (also known as a Band Decoder) works with Antenna Switch Controller to perform automated antenna selection on band change

This is a carrier for a 2x20 LCD display. It has 4 pushbuttons that are pull-to-ground.

The module is intended to mount in the front part of the cover of a Hammond 1591XXSFLBK enclosure. Note that I have not actually tried this yet.

The board has a cut-out for the visible part of the display, and holes marking all the pushbutton actuators. The intent is that a bare board can be used as a template to mark the enclosure for drilling.
