About the Pcb business card

Pcb business card is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by namberino, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 70.5 × 44.7 mm, with 14 components from 11 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATmega328-P, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 5 connectors, 4 capacitors, 2 resistors, 1 IC, 1 crystal and 1 diode.

From the project

A custom PCB business card with a functioning microcontroller

This is my custom PCB business card. I wanted to learn more about PCB design so a decided to make a fully custom PCB that functions both as a microcontroller and a business card.

I used EasyEDA to design the board. This was a big learning experience for me so the design doesn't follow the best practices but for now, it's good enough. This is the schematic and x-ray view of the board:

Pcb business card: common questions

What microcontroller does the Pcb business card use?

The Pcb business card is built around the ATmega328-P, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Pcb business card?

The Pcb business card measures 70.5 × 44.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Pcb business card?

14 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Pcb business card design files?

From the namberino/pcb-business-card repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Pcb business card design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which namberino chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Pcb business card without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
