About the NUcr PCB
NUcr is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by NUbots, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65.4 × 66.7 mm, with 28 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_Uno_R3_Shield, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 18 connectors, 6 resistors and 3 capacitors.
From the project
Hardware used by the NUbots team.
It has: nine Molex Spox 22-03-5045 headers -- three of which connect to the OpenCR's three JST headers --, one Molex Picoblade 53047-0810 header and one 53047-0910 header for the button panel, four JST B2B-PH-K-S headers for the fans -- one of which connects to the OpenCR's 12 V header --, an Arduino footprint -- this only serves to connect 3.3 V and to provide structural connection --, * and lastly one three-pin header for a standalone RS485 serial converter.

NUcr: common questions
What microcontroller does the NUcr use?
The NUcr is built around the Arduino_Uno_R3_Shield, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the NUcr PCB?
The NUcr measures 65.4 × 66.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the NUcr?
28 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the NUcr design files?
From the NUbots/NUware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the NUcr design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with NUbots. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the NUcr without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
