About the BPF-310MHz PCB
BPF-310MHz is an open source PCB design by PA3AEF, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 19 × 19 mm, with 7 components from 4 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 5 capacitors and 2 inductors.
From the project
Homebrew tracking generator for base-band, 6cm, 3cm and 12mm bands
The 3 cm module is the harmonic‑mode RF upconversion stage of the Tracking Generator. It reconstructs the analyzer’s 9.5–11.5 GHz sweep by combining:
- the analyzer’s 1st LO (LOSA = 4.905–5.905 GHz) - the analyzer’s internal IF = 310.7 MHz (harmonic 2 mode) - a TG‑generated IFTG = 310.7 MHz from an ADF4351 - a doubled version of the analyzer’s 1st LO (LO₂ = 9.81–11.81 GHz) for the HMC220 mixer

BPF-310MHz: common questions
How big is the BPF-310MHz PCB?
The BPF-310MHz measures 19 × 19 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 0.79 mm thick.
How many components are on the BPF-310MHz?
7 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the BPF-310MHz design files?
From the PA3AEF/HP8562A-Tracking-Generator repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the BPF-310MHz design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which PA3AEF chose for the repository.
