About the TG LPF 3GHz PCB
TG LPF 3GHz is an open source PCB design by PA3AEF, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 19 × 19 mm, with 11 components from 4 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 8 capacitors and 3 inductors.
From the project
Homebrew tracking generator for base-band, 6cm, 3cm and 12mm bands
The Base‑Band module generates the 0–2.9 GHz portion of the Tracking Generator output. It uses the analyzer’s 1st LO as the swept RF input and mixes it with a locally generated LO_TG to recreate the analyzer’s RF sweep at the TG output.
This module contains the core RF building blocks for fundamental‑mode operation:
- clean LO_TG generation - LO driver amplification - fundamental mixer - post‑mix filtering - output leveling
