About the CH32-devBoard PCB

CH32-devBoard is an open source WCH CH32/CH55x PCB design by parammakersadda, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-W-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40.5 × 45.5 mm, with 15 components from 10 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the TSSOP-20_4.4x6.5mm_P0.65mm, from the WCH CH32/CH55x family. By type, the board carries 5 connectors, 5 resistors, 2 diodes, 1 IC, 1 switch and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

CH32-devBoard: common questions

What microcontroller does the CH32-devBoard use?

The CH32-devBoard is built around the TSSOP-20_4.4x6.5mm_P0.65mm, from the WCH CH32/CH55x family.

How big is the CH32-devBoard PCB?

The CH32-devBoard measures 40.5 × 45.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the CH32-devBoard?

15 components, from 10 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the CH32-devBoard design files?

From the parammakersadda/CH32-devBoard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the CH32-devBoard design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-W-2.0 license, which parammakersadda chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the CH32-devBoard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug WCH CH32/CH55x firmware against it before you order a PCB.
