About the QSC-RW PCB

QSC-RW is an open source PCB design by partlyhuman, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 55 × 33.1 mm, with 4 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the SST39SF040. By type, the board carries 1 IC, 1 connector, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.

Things that work with the Suzuki QChord, primarily a reproduction QCard that can be built with completely off-the-shelf parts. These projects are under active development.

You can get one as long as stock lasts at my Ko-Fi shop!

A single cartridge that contains the entire Q-Card library, selectable by dip switches. The flash should be programmed prior to assembly, by concatenating the 4Mbit dumps you can find on archive.org.

QSC-RW: common questions

How big is the QSC-RW PCB?

The QSC-RW measures 55 × 33.1 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.600198 mm thick.

How many components are on the QSC-RW?

4 components, from 4 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the QSC-RW design files?

From the partlyhuman/qchord repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the QSC-RW design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which partlyhuman chose for the repository.
