About the Prod crossing PCB

Prod crossing is an open source PCB design by polaracep, published on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80 × 82.8 mm, with 17 components from 11 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 2 transistors, 2 diodes, 2 capacitors, 1 connector and 1 battery holder.

From the project

A collection of easy-to-solder boards for learning soldering

A level crossing sign. based on czech ažd-97.

- 2 selectable operational modes (changeable using solder bridges) 1) the leds blinking alternately 2) pad in the middle can be used as a button to turn the leds on - can be soldered with smd or tht parts. - a printable leg (M2 screws for mounting)

1. On top of the board is a hole for a lanyard/keychain. 2. In the folder 3D addons are STLs for a leg and hoods for the LEDs. - use an M2 screw - No nut is necessary, the leg is made to be a tight fit

Prod crossing: common questions

How big is the Prod crossing PCB?

The Prod crossing measures 80 × 82.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Prod crossing?

17 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Prod crossing design files?

From the polaracep/soldering-kits repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Prod crossing design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its AGPL-3.0 license, which polaracep chose for the repository.
