This repository is for a custom keyboard I am making with custom keycaps, case, and things I like being integrated into the design of the keyboard

Morning Star is a custom 81-key mechanical keyboard powered by the Hack Club Orpheus Pico (RP2040). Built with dual rotary encoders, ultra-quiet linear switches, and a custom 2-layer PCB inside a 3D-printed enclosure, it delivers a high-functionality, low-noise typing experience.

Microcontroller: Powered by the Hack Club Orpheus Pico (RP2040). Sound Profile: Engineered for silent operation using Outemu Silent White linear switches, blank MOA profile PBT keycaps, and pre-clipped Chosfox V3 plate-mount stabilizers. My-Cool-Keeb: common questions

What microcontroller does the My-Cool-Keeb use?

The My-Cool-Keeb is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the My-Cool-Keeb PCB?

The My-Cool-Keeb measures 395.7 × 137.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the My-Cool-Keeb?

169 components, from 9 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the My-Cool-Keeb design files?

From the Random1011010/My-Cool-Keeb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the My-Cool-Keeb design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Random1011010. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the My-Cool-Keeb without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
