About the OmniSCC PCB
OmniSCC is an open source PCB design by RBSC, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.8 × 46.4 mm, with 12 components from 11 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 5 capacitors, 3 connectors, 3 resistors and 1 diode.
It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.
From the project
OmniSCC catridge for MSX
KiCad 8 project for the base OmniSCC carrier: a 16 MB "purple" Raspberry Pi Pico clone soldered flat onto an MSX cartridge edge connector, with no level translation — the RP2040 drives the MSX bus directly at 3.3 V.
Symbols and footprints come from the Board/libs submodule (OSPC_Library); initialise it before opening the project.
Three 3-pole solder jumpers choose what reaches GP26–GP28. The firmware in firmware/ expects:

OmniSCC: common questions
How big is the OmniSCC PCB?
The OmniSCC measures 99.8 × 46.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the OmniSCC?
12 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the OmniSCC design files?
From the RBSC/OmniSCC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the OmniSCC design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which RBSC chose for the repository.
