About the Blinky PCB

Blinky is an open source PCB design by Sadrita404, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 70 × 70 mm, with 21 components from 12 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the NE555P, LM7805_TO220 and 4017. By type, the board carries 10 diodes, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 2 capacitors and 2 resistors.

From the project

It is A 555 LED chaser board — a classic beginner PCB project.

For this Project I only need the grant of $14 for the PCB and for the other parts it will provided by Hack Club ( Blinky Board Kit) as it is already selected .

Blinky: common questions

How big is the Blinky PCB?

The Blinky measures 70 × 70 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Blinky?

21 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Blinky design files?

From the Sadrita404/Blinky repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Blinky design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Sadrita404 chose for the repository.
