About the RC-Rover-Platform PCB
RC-Rover-Platform is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by SahanaDil, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 13 components from 10 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the DRV8833PWP MOTOR DRIVER (LEFT), NRF24L01 RADIO MODULE, GYRO + IMU and DRV8833PWP MOTOR DRIVER (RIGHT). By type, the board carries 5 connectors, 4 ICs, 1 module, 1 battery holder, 1 diode and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the robotics & motion and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
This is a modular rover platform built around an Arduino Uno R3. My goal is to create a small 4WD rover that can sense its environment, be driven remotely, and be built on with improvements (i.e. more sensors, better control, app integration, etc.) This is my second ever engineer

Features/parts for version 1: - 4 wheel drive chassis (4WD) for better control - Arduino Uno R3 as the main microcontroller - Detects obstacles using an ultrasonic sensor - Wireless remote control using one joystick and a radio module - Status indication…

RC-Rover-Platform: common questions
What microcontroller does the RC-Rover-Platform use?
The RC-Rover-Platform is built around the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How many components are on the RC-Rover-Platform?
13 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the RC-Rover-Platform design files?
From the SahanaDil/RC-Rover-Platform repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the RC-Rover-Platform design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with SahanaDil. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the RC-Rover-Platform without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
