About the Pi-Sensor-Hub PCB
Pi-Sensor-Hub is an open source Raspberry Pi PCB design by Shah-2024, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 54.5 × 26 mm, with 9 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_2_3, from the Raspberry Pi family. By type, the board carries 5 resistors and 4 connectors.
It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
A custom PCB, designed in KiCAD, that carries the DHT11, INA219, and HC-SR04 sensors from my Industrial IoT OPC UA Monitoring System off a breadboard and onto a dedicated interface board for the Raspberry Pi.
A custom PCB, designed in KiCAD, that carries the DHT11, INA219, and HC-SR04 sensors from my Industrial IoT OPC UA Monitoring System off a breadboard and onto a dedicated interface board for the Raspberry Pi.
The original monitoring system prototyped its sensor wiring on a breadboard, including a manual voltage divider to safely bring the HC-SR04's 5V echo signal down to the Pi's 3.3V GPIO logic level. This board turns that breadboard wiring into a permanent, fabrication-ready PCB that plugs directly onto the Pi's 40-pin GPIO header.

Pi-Sensor-Hub: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pi-Sensor-Hub use?
The Pi-Sensor-Hub is built around the Raspberry_Pi_2_3, from the Raspberry Pi family.
How big is the Pi-Sensor-Hub PCB?
The Pi-Sensor-Hub measures 54.5 × 26 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Pi-Sensor-Hub?
9 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pi-Sensor-Hub design files?
From the Shah-2024/Pi-Sensor-Hub repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pi-Sensor-Hub design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Shah-2024. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Pi-Sensor-Hub without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
