About the Pcb

Pcb is an open source STM32 PCB design by shinemohans061, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 51.3 × 73 mm, with 48 components from 19 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32H750VBTx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the USBLC6-2P6 and TLV1117-33CDCYRG3. By type, the board carries 15 resistors, 8 capacitors, 5 connectors, 3 ICs, 3 diodes and 2 inductors.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Final year project for B.Tech. 2022-2026. The development of BMS is still going, hope to complete before end of the semester.

Minimal custom arm m7 devloppement board designed as a 10 year anniversary present.

- SWD debug connected with pinout compatible with native 20 pin J-Link probe

- Route all remaining mcu pins to female connectors

The following table lists the J-Link / J-Trace SWD pinout. |Pin|Signal|Type|Description| |---|------|----|-----------| |1|VTref|Input|This is the target reference voltage. It is used to check if the target has power, to create the logic-level reference for the input comparators and to control the output logic levels to the target. It is normally fed from Vdd of the target board…

Pcb: common questions

What microcontroller does the Pcb use?

The Pcb is built around the STM32H750VBTx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Pcb?

The Pcb measures 51.3 × 73 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Pcb?

48 components, from 19 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Pcb design files?

From the shinemohans061/BMS_Final_Year_Project repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Pcb design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with shinemohans061. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Pcb without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
