About the Temp node PCB

Temp node is an open source PCB design by sslivins, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 35 × 21 mm, with 6 components from 6 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 2 capacitors and 1 fuse.

It belongs with the sensors and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

Open-source PCB design files for Thermux. There are two boards:

- Sensor Bus Hat (sensorbushat/) — plugs onto the Olimex ESP32-POE-ISO and breaks the 1-Wire bus out to an RJ45 jack, carrying the bus pull-up resistor. - Temperature Node (tempnode/`) — the distributed DS18B20 sensor breakout with RJ45 connectors for daisy-chaining sensors along the bus.

Each board's gerbers/ folder is self-contained — zip its contents (or upload the folder) to JLCPCB / PCBWay to fabricate that board.

Temp node: common questions

How big is the Temp node PCB?

The Temp node measures 35 × 21 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Temp node?

6 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Temp node design files?

From the sslivins/thermux repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Temp node design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with sslivins. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
