About the Scaraboard PCB
Scaraboard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by sz6084, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 355.7 × 129.3 mm, with 175 components from 10 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
I wanted to create a keyboard to replace my old keyboard that I spilled a smoothie over, a (surprisingly decent and fully-sized) membrane keyboard. Scaraboard has 88 switches, 1 rpi pico, and no LEDs (I don't want the hassle and my current keyboard doesn't have it anyways, though

Scaraboard has 88 switches, 1 rpi pico, and no LEDs (I don't want the hassle and my current keyboard doesn't have it anyways, though RGB in a future one would be cool). Also Genshin Impact.
I had only just designed my macropad, and now i had to scale it up. I followed an online guide and consulted my trusty friend who had more experience than I did. I also asked questions in the Hack Club Slack.

Scaraboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Scaraboard use?
The Scaraboard is built around the Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Scaraboard PCB?
The Scaraboard measures 355.7 × 129.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Scaraboard?
175 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Scaraboard design files?
From the sz6084/Scaraboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Scaraboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with sz6084. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Scaraboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
