About the Zudo pd PCB

Zudo pd is an open source PCB design by Takazudo, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 82 × 99 mm, with 81 components from 55 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the STUSB4500QTR, C2071044, C347423, C459702 and C666306. By type, the board carries 29 capacitors, 19 resistors, 9 connectors, 7 ICs, 4 diodes and 3 LEDs.

From the project

A USB-C PD power-supply design for modular synthesizers, with a separate input board and a synth conversion board for +12 V, −12 V and +5 V.

A USB-C PD power-supply design for modular synthesizers, with a separate input board and a synth conversion board for +12 V, −12 V and +5 V.

This is development hardware. The rail budgets are +12 V / 1.2 A, −12 V / 0.8 A and +5 V / 0.5 A; they are targets, not measured capabilities. The renewed conversion circuit uses AP63201, LT1963A and adjustable LT3015 parts with explicit headroom and thermal qualification conditions.
