This thing is really big so you need like a lot of plates if you want to build it. Roughly about 6 plates and 40 hours of non stop printing.

It uses a crap ton of M3 screws and heatsets, so make sure you stock up on those

The bottom piece is there for stability and to make sure the wheel mount doesnt collapse.\ The suspensions are a bunch of high strendth springs that help distribute the weight of the whole car evenly through the wheels and absorb large bumps.\ \

Controller: common questions

How big is the Controller PCB?

The Controller measures 79.8 × 60.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Controller?

14 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Controller design files?

From the Taran-the-Idiot/taranium-rover repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Controller design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Taran-the-Idiot. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
