About the RC2014 RAM PCB

RC2014 RAM is an open source PCB design by tebl, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.1 × 49.5 mm, with 11 components from 9 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the HM62256BLP-7, 74LS32 and 74HCT00. By type, the board carries 4 connectors, 3 ICs, 3 capacitors and 1 resistor.

RC2014 expansion modules and scripts

This is a customized RAM module that enables you to page the module in and out, similar to the 64K module available. The difference here is that I'm only using one RAM chip per card. The reason for this is simple, PCB manufacturers don't seem to want to make a single PCB so this way I can use more of them at once!

The PCB places the paging pin on one of the spare pins of the backplane, that way I don't have to run any wires between the cards.
