About the ElectroWEAR PCB
ElectroWEAR is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by Vijeta-Garg, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 115.5 × 79 mm, with 10 components from 7 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_UNO_R2, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 2 transistors, 2 diodes, 2 resistors, 1 IC, 1 module and 1 connector.

TBD
Inspiration: I've been working on an electropneumatically powered mechanotherapy wearable for breast cancer survivors, including in my last iteration (link to that abstract is here: https://www.overleaf.com/read/rxshvgcpytvv#2f1c8a in which I created custom soft actuator structures for this application). However, the last electropneumatic system I made was powered by a 12 Volt battery + hard to integrate into a wearable. I wanted to make an electropneumatic system that can be easier to integrate into a mechanotherapy vest for breast cancer survivors.

ElectroWEAR: common questions
What microcontroller does the ElectroWEAR use?
The ElectroWEAR is built around the Arduino_UNO_R2, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the ElectroWEAR PCB?
The ElectroWEAR measures 115.5 × 79 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 0.16 mm thick.
How many components are on the ElectroWEAR?
10 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ElectroWEAR design files?
From the Vijeta-Garg/ElectroWEAR repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ElectroWEAR design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Vijeta-Garg. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ElectroWEAR without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
