About the Aesthetiocizer PCB

Aesthetiocizer is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by ViratS-best, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 81.5 × 79.5 mm, with 23 components from 15 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the XIAO-RP2040-SMD, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 6 diodes, 5 resistors, 3 modules, 3 transistors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Xiao car AI project: firmware inference, embedded model assets, and hardware design.

Voice-controlled car firmware and hardware design for the Seeed XIAO RP2040. The firmware captures microphone audio, runs an Edge Impulse model, and uses recognized commands to control the car.

The firmware responds to classifications with confidence of at least 0.85: - drive starts the motors. - stop stops the motors. - music plays a melody through the speaker. - lights flashes the LEDs.

Aesthetiocizer: common questions

What microcontroller does the Aesthetiocizer use?

The Aesthetiocizer is built around the XIAO-RP2040-SMD, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Aesthetiocizer PCB?

The Aesthetiocizer measures 81.5 × 79.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Aesthetiocizer?

23 components, from 15 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Aesthetiocizer design files?

From the ViratS-best/Aesthetiocizer repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Aesthetiocizer design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ViratS-best. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Aesthetiocizer without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
