About the Jazzhands main PCB
Jazzhands main is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by wearpants, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 64.9 × 33 mm, with 32 components from 10 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ProMicro, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the LSM6DSO. By type, the board carries 16 connectors, 6 resistors, 4 ICs, 4 capacitors and 2 diodes.
It belongs with the keyboards and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
A small multi-PCB handheld keyboard for chording style input.

The main "brains" PCB, which accepts a nice!nano controller. It exposes connection points with Molex Pico EZMate connectors for 5 key PCBs, and a 3-pin Molex Pico EZMate connector for use with the power-reset daughterboard PCB. An untested IMU is also on the main PCB, for future use.
A small single key PCB with Molex Pico EZMate connector, Kailh hotswap socket, and mounting holes for possible assembly. One mounting hole "wing" is breakaway, as needed.

Jazzhands main: common questions
What microcontroller does the Jazzhands main use?
The Jazzhands main is built around the ProMicro, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Jazzhands main PCB?
The Jazzhands main measures 64.9 × 33 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Jazzhands main?
32 components, from 10 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Jazzhands main design files?
From the wearpants/jazzhands-hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Jazzhands main design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with wearpants. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Jazzhands main without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
