Arcade switch replacement

It's the successor to my sanwa_opt project. With it, you can use regular low-profile keyboard switches (or even optical sensors) on arcade buttons.

Io8: common questions

How big is the Io8 PCB?

The Io8 measures 85 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Io8?

61 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Io8 design files?

From the whowechina/arcade_pico repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Io8 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with whowechina. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
