Newer, Better, Thinner and Open-Source Xii-Boy
The Xii-Boy Pocket is a small portable Wii using a Game Boy form factor. The Xii-Boy Pocket is the second version of my Xii-Boy design. This new portable Wii is now better, thinner, and above all, Open-Source ! Compared to the Gboy Rev III, it is 25% smaller and 5mm thinner !

Controller: common questions
What microcontroller does the Controller use?
The Controller is built around the PIC18F25K80_IML, from the PIC family.
How big is the Controller PCB?
The Controller measures 65.7 × 58.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Controller?
23 components, from 19 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Controller design files?
From the Xenii1642/Xii-Boy-Pocket repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Controller design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Xenii1642. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Controller without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug PIC firmware against it before you order a PCB.
