About the PicoLight PCB
PicoLight is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by 46nori, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a board, with 13 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Pico W, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the TA48M033F. By type, the board carries 3 resistors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 transistor and 1 switch.
From the project
'Rotating Beacon Light' device controlled by Raspberry Pi Pico W.
PicoLight is a 'Rotating Beacon Light' device controlled by Raspberry Pi Pico W. I created it as per my daughter's request :-).
- Controller - Raspberry Pi Pico W. Power supply is 3.3V. - Rotating Beacon Light - Connected to GPIO22 (output). - Controlled by N-ch MOS FET. - Push button switch - Connected to GPIO8 (input). - Set GPIO pin configuration to pull-up (INPUT_PULLUP). - LED - Connected to GPIO2 (output). - Current limiting resistor is adjusted according to brightness.

PicoLight: common questions
What microcontroller does the PicoLight use?
The PicoLight is built around the Pico W, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How many components are on the PicoLight?
13 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the PicoLight design files?
From the 46nori/PicoLight repository on GitHub, which has the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the PicoLight design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which 46nori chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the PicoLight without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
