About the WebShooter PCB
WebShooter is an open source ESP32 PCB design by 8aChristian, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 38 × 38 mm, with 6 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the PINSOCKET_1X08_P2.54MM, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 2 connectors, 2 diodes, 1 IC and 1 transistor.
It belongs with the iot & wireless, sensors and wearables designs in this gallery.
From the project
PCB for a webshooter control by a force sensor, solenoid valve and a brushless motor.
WebShooter is a compact, high-reliability wearable controller PCB designed for rapid biosignal/force acquisition, low-latency electronic valve actuation, and external brushless motor ESC control.
Built around the ESP32-C3 SuperMini (RISC-V 32-bit architecture), the system is engineered to withstand intense inductive transients and severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) from high-power loads while providing precision analog readings from a Force Sensing Resistor (FSR).

WebShooter: common questions
What microcontroller does the WebShooter use?
The WebShooter is built around the PINSOCKET_1X08_P2.54MM, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the WebShooter PCB?
The WebShooter measures 38 × 38 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the WebShooter?
6 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the WebShooter design files?
From the 8aChristian/WebShooterPcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the WebShooter design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which 8aChristian chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the WebShooter without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
