About the Diyosc PCB

Diyosc is an open source PCB design by agkaminski, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 12.7 × 20.3 mm, with 7 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74HC00. By type, the board carries 3 resistors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 crystal.

From the project

Various hardware projects that do not deserve their own repository.

I thought I had integrated 8 MHz DIP-14 oscillator, turned out I did not. It also proved not that easy to buy. But I had 8 MHZ HC49-SD crystals, so I decided to design a replacement. This PCB should allow usage of pretty much whichever crystal, but R1, R2, C1 and C2 should be picked accordingly.

Diyosc: common questions

How big is the Diyosc PCB?

The Diyosc measures 12.7 × 20.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Diyosc?

7 components, from 5 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Diyosc design files?

From the agkaminski/hw_projects repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Diyosc design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with agkaminski. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
