Ghostly Light - Pacman's ghost toy light
Ghostly light is a small toy project powered by a coin cell, which is inspired by the ghosts of the classic pacman game. This small toy consists of a plastic shell designed to be 3d-printed, a specific hardware, and a software that generates the different effects. The plastic shell has the shape of a pacman ghost. It consists of two parts, which allows you to remove the PCB and change the battery. It's recommended to print in translucent neutral color to get a better finish. The hardware consists of a low power step-up, an ATtiny85 microcontroller and an WS2812B addressable LED. All the pins…

Ghostly light: common questions
What microcontroller does the Ghostly light use?
The Ghostly light is built around the ATTINY85, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Ghostly light PCB?
The Ghostly light measures 30 × 30 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Ghostly light?
14 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Ghostly light design files?
From the akornsys-rdi/ghostly-light repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Ghostly light design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which akornsys-rdi chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Ghostly light without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
