About the EEPROM programmer PCB

EEPROM programmer is an open source PCB design by Alireza2317, published on GitHub under the CC0-1.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40.4 × 52.8 mm, with 3 components from 2 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74HC595 and 28C16_EEPROM.

It belongs with the usb & debug tools and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A KiCad PCB design and Arduino firmware for programming 28C16 parallel EEPROMs. Designed for Ben Eater's 8-bit computer microcode.

A custom PCB shield and Arduino firmware designed to program 28C16 Parallel EEPROMs.

This tool is essential for projects like the Ben Eater 8-bit computer, allowing you to burn microcode or 7-segment display logic into non-volatile memory without manually toggling dip switches.

Chip Support: 28C16 (2K x 8-bit Parallel EEPROM). Design Tool: KiCad (Schematic & PCB files included). Status: Production-ready Gerber files are available in the gerbers` folder.
