About the Solar-Lights-Lite PCB
Solar-Lights-Lite is an open source ESP8266 PCB design by anthonyjclarke, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 29 components from 24 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Wemos D1 Mini, from the ESP8266 family. By type, the board carries 9 resistors, 3 modules, 3 diodes, 3 capacitors, 2 connectors and 2 battery holders.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
Reviewed solar-light rebuild: staged hardware, firmware, KiCad schematics, assembly drawings, and validation evidence.
These Rev 0.3 engineering and wiring sheets are preserved as audit inputs. They describe the previous circuit, not the v0.5 proposal. Do not fabricate or assemble from them.
Fresh exports have identical 25-net connectivity, but ERC reports and component-level review do not support the previous “verified” signoff. See ../docs/VALIDATION.md and ../validation/ for evidence. Current visual schematics and the explicit external wiring schedule are in ../docs/. No PCB layout or fabrication package has been released.

Solar-Lights-Lite: common questions
What microcontroller does the Solar-Lights-Lite use?
The Solar-Lights-Lite is built around the Wemos D1 Mini, from the ESP8266 family.
How many components are on the Solar-Lights-Lite?
29 components, from 24 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Solar-Lights-Lite design files?
From the anthonyjclarke/Solar-Lights-Lite repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and a netlist; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Solar-Lights-Lite design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with anthonyjclarke. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Solar-Lights-Lite without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
