About the Esp breadboard expander PCB
Esp breadboard expander is an open source PCB design by Atomicbeast101, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 88.3 × 50.9 mm, with 18 components from 13 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 10 connectors, 3 diodes, 2 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 fuse and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the power & battery and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
Kicad-designed ESP32/ESP8266/ESP-01S breadboard expander with built-in external power supply.
Kicad-designed ESP32/ESP8266/ESP-01S breadboard expander PCB with built-in external power supply. This is to provide the option for connecting these ESP chips to the standard breadboards with a separate power supply to provide enough current for prototyping. This DC power supply also powers the ESP chip too.
This PCB was designed as my first project to understand the whole designing process as well as the JLCPCB ordering part. It has gone through 2 revisions to get it working properly.
