About the ADLSC PCB
ADLSC is an open source ESP32 PCB design by atoomnetmarc, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 137.2 × 61 mm, with 48 components from 20 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-DevKitC + ESP32-WROVER-E, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the MAX809M and 74AHCT125D. By type, the board carries 17 resistors, 14 diodes, 4 transistors, 4 connectors, 3 fuses and 3 capacitors.
It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.
From the project
Atoomnet's Digital Led String Controller
ESP32 based 5V digital LED controller build for use with WLED.
The chosen ESP32 classic is the ESP32-WROVER-E with PSRAM on a ESP32-DevKitC V4 board.
The ESP32 must be able to control the power to the LEDs. That means a high-side power switch.
The ESP32 will be powered by the same 5V power supply. A 0.5A 1812 polyfuse with 5V bidirectional TVS diode will used to protect the low power electronics.

ADLSC: common questions
What microcontroller does the ADLSC use?
The ADLSC is built around the ESP32-DevKitC + ESP32-WROVER-E, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the ADLSC PCB?
The ADLSC measures 137.2 × 61 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the ADLSC?
48 components, from 20 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ADLSC design files?
From the atoomnetmarc/ADLSC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ADLSC design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which atoomnetmarc chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the ADLSC without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
