About the Resistance-Telemetry PCB

Resistance-Telemetry is an open source STM32 PCB design by ayuusweetfish, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 32.8 × 17 mm, with 33 components from 27 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32G030F6Px, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the SPX3819M5-L-3-3, nRF24L01P and CS1237. By type, the board carries 14 capacitors, 6 resistors, 4 ICs, 3 inductors, 2 connectors and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the iot & wireless and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Compact remote sensor for a variable resistance, transmission through BLE

🚧 Feature complete. Docs to be polished.

A compact sensor for a variable resistance that transmits data through BLE. A client program provides an interface for plotting and inspecting values on a desktop computer.

The device is physically compact (3.3 cm × 1.7 cm, around the size of the battery cell plus the antenna). It is powered by a LIR2016 cell and requires no setup on the computer side. Resolution is 24-bit, but no extensive calibration has currently been carried out. Designed for laboratory use, e.g. for e-skin gloves user studies.

Resistance-Telemetry: common questions

What microcontroller does the Resistance-Telemetry use?

The Resistance-Telemetry is built around the STM32G030F6Px, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Resistance-Telemetry PCB?

The Resistance-Telemetry measures 32.8 × 17 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Resistance-Telemetry?

33 components, from 27 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Resistance-Telemetry design files?

From the ayuusweetfish/Resistance-Telemetry repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Resistance-Telemetry design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ayuusweetfish. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Resistance-Telemetry without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
